On Saturday April 13th, I attended the Beausejour Edmond Financial Regional Stream Provincial Championships. The three-day event started on Friday and continued on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 21 clubs were in attendance. Gym clubs that attended on Saturday were: Brandon Eagles, Crescentwood, Gimli, Grand Plains GymCats, Keystone Kips, Morden, Neepawa Novas, GymKyds, Panthers, Selkirk Selects, Silhouettes, South Port Sapphires, Spartans, Springers, St. Andrews, Steinbach Flippers, Teulon, Thompson Tumblers, Winnipeg Gym Center, Swan Valley Cheetahs, and the host club Beausejour Elites. Many hours went into the planning of this event where coaches, parents, volunteers along with their gymnasts. They did an outstanding job in ensuring that this meet was a resounding success.
On behalf of the MGA, I wish to thank the Beausejour Elites Club for hosting the Regional Stream Provincial Championships. A big thank you to all the judges, coaches and dedicated volunteers for a job well done.
