On February 1st to February 3rd, 2019, Springers Gymnastics Club hosted the Royal Classic JO1 to JO 10, and the Pre Novice Aspire 1 competitors.
I attended all day Sunday and even with the Super Bowl being on Sunday, the stands were filled with Parents, grandparents, friends, and others to watch talented gymnasts compete at their various levels. Participating clubs were: Brandon Eagles, Gymkyds, Keystone Kips, Morden, Panthers, Red Lake, Selkirk, Spartans, Steinbach, Winnipeg Gymnastics, and the host club, Springers. Sunday’s competition ran smoothly without a drawback and finished on time.
All gymnasts who competed have their names and scores posted on the MGA website. I took photos of the various competitors and events and passed them on to the clubs which gymnasts are associated with.
I thank the Springers Gym Club, especially Kendra Tower, Rachelle Valel and Brooke Merrifield for the invitation and the honour of handing out awards. Credit also goes to the coaches, judges, gymnasts, and volunteers who time and time again, work remarkably well together to make these competitions a success. On behalf of the MGA, I take this opportunity to recognize everyone’s commitment to the sport.
