Panthers Gym Club hosted their annual Snowflake Invitational Competitions on January 18th to 20th. I attended on Saturday, where the following clubs were in attendance: Brandon Eagles, Crescentwood, Gym Adventure, GymKyds, Keystone Kips, Morden, Queen City Gym Centre from Regina, Spartans, Springers, Steinbach, and the host team, Panthers.
The weekend competition had 15 separate sessions, from JO1 to JO10, with one session of Tumbling and Trampoline. At the end of each competition, parents, spectators and family members travelled to Canad Inns, Windsor Park, where the awards presentations were held. By doing so, the subsequent arriving competitive groups had access to the parking lot at Panthers.
Panthers’ two viewing galleries, at the gym level and on the second floor, provided spectators with an excellent view.
As always I took pictures, sorted them and passed the photos on to their respective clubs. All competition scores are posted on the MGA website for easy access to interested parties.
In closing, I enjoyed my time at the competition and want to personally thank Robert and Helene for the invitation. On behalf of the MGA, I wish to thank the Panthers staff and volunteers for organizing another excellent competition.
