National Coaches Week is September 15-21, 2025! This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate your coaches and recognize them for their contributions to your programs!

MGA

The MGA will be sharing any posts in our Stories that recognizing your club’s coaches on Instagram and Facebook if we are tagged (@manitobagymnastics)!
You can thank your coach by nominating them to win one of seven $50 gift cards (for vendor of their choosing) during the week! Selection will be done by draw; all nomination fields must be completed. Coaches must be active for the 2025-2026 season. Duplicate submissions for the same coach from the same individual will be removed prior to drawing. Sport Manitoba

There will be treats and prizes for coaches at 201-145 Pacific Avenue and it will be set up for filming of #ThanksCoach videos.
Sport Manitoba is also looking for:
- Mentees for their Female Mentorship Program
- Nominees for Sport Manitoba Coaching Awards (Note: MGA will be automatically nominating our Annual Award Winners for 2025 which should be selected and notified by early September)
There are free NCCP courses which offer PD points for all coaches who require them for maintaining their certification, space is limited and reimbursement is processed following the completion of the course:
- Sept 14 and 16 – Zoom – Teaching and Learning
- Sept 15 – Zoom – Manage a Sport Program
- Sept 17 – Zoom – Basic Mental Skills (Note: when you click on the initial link it shows 20^th but is this 17^th when you register, SMB has a new website with a few glitches on it they are trying to work through)
- Sept 18 and 19 – Zoom – Coach Core Evaluator
- Sept 19 – In-Person – Aboriginal Coaching Module – Email cadin.dupasquier@masrc.com
