On January 19th to 21st, Panthers gym Club hosted their annual Snowflake Invitational Competitions. Even though I was not able to attend all three days, I was told Robert Persechino, Helen Desmarais, their staff and parent volunteers, did an excellent job in overseeing the event.
On Sunday afternoon the following clubs were in attendance: Crescentwood, GymKyds, Kenora, Keystone Kips, Mat Cats from Red Lake Ont., Springers, Steinbach, and the host team, Panthers.
The weekend competition had 10 separate sessions, from Regional Beginner to High Performance with one session of Tumbling and Trampoline. I enjoyed taking in the last three sessions and was given the honour of handing out awards. I also took many photos. These pictures are always forwarded to the clubs.
The viewing gallery, both at the gym level and on the second floor, provided spectators with an excellent view.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the competition and want to personally thank Robert and Helene for the invitation. I also wish to thank the Panthers staff for organizing an excellent competition. They never fail in doing their very best!
