Women’s Winter Warn-up, Beginner to Pre-Provincial, and JO 5-10 Competitions
December 16th – 17th, 2017
On Sunday, December 17th, I attended the Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre’s Winter Warn-up. The event included 4 sessions on Sunday: pre provincial Birth years 2001 to 2008, Intermediate Birth years 2001 to 2010, and Advanced Birth years 2001-2005 and 2006 to 2004.
The two-day event hosted 294 participants from the following 10 clubs: Brandon Eagles, Grand View Gymcats, Keystone Kips, Neepawa, Panthers, Selkirk Selects, Southport, Springers, Steinbach Flippers, and the host club, Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre.
After all the proceedings were done and the scores tallied, small gifts were handed out and ribbons and medals were distributed to the winners. To view all the participants’ scores, on this web-site, please go to events and click on “results”.
A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers, score keepers, coaches and judges for their hard work. On behalf of the MGA, I wish to thank the Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre for hosting the competition. I now look forward to the Beginner to HP and T and T Snowflake Invitational being held in the New Year.
