On January 20th to 23rd, Panthers gym Club hosted their annual Snowflake Invitational Competitions. I attended on Saturday, Sunday and the T and T competition on Monday evening. In total 14 provincial clubs and 4 out of province clubs were in attendance.
Robert Pereschino and Helene Desmarais along with the staff and parent volunteers did an excellent job in overseeing all activities over the 4 days.
The competition had 14 separate sessions, from Beginner to National levels with one session of Tumbling and Trampoline. The viewing gallery, both at the gym level and on the second floor, provided spectators with an excellent view. In speaking with several coaching staff, a few judges and some older competitors, all were excited to see how the year had progressed and were enthusiastic about attending future competitions. The parents were mostly absorbed in their daughters’/ sons’ progression in the sport, as were many grandparents.
I enjoyed my time at the competition taking photos as usual, and want to personally thank Robert and Helene for the invitation. I also wish to thank the Panthers staff for organizing an excellent competition.
